أثار بلاغ غامض عن العثور على «جثة طفل» داخل كيس بلاستيكي أسود في قرية ديفون جنوب غرب إنجلترا، حالة من الذعر بين السكان، قبل أن تتضح المفاجأة الصادمة: ما ظنه الجميع جثة حقيقية لم يكن سوى «دمية» فاخرة شديدة الشبه بالأطفال!
وقالت شرطة مقاطعة ديفون وكورنوال إن المزارع الذي عثر على الكيس قرب قرية أوليسكوم أصيب بصدمة كبيرة عندما لمح أطراف الدمية الناعمة تبرز من داخله، ما دفعه للاتصال الفوري بخدمات الطوارئ، لتُفتح الحقيبة بحذر شديد بحضور خبراء الطب الشرعي.
وبحسب بيان الشرطة، جرى نقل الجسم إلى المختبر لمزيد من الفحص، لكن التحاليل أكدت لاحقاً أن «الرفات» ليست بشرية على الإطلاق، بل دمية من السيليكون.
وأوضحت الشرطة أن الدمية تباع عبر الإنترنت من مواقع تسوق شهيرة مثل Shein أو AliExpress، مؤكدة فتح تحقيق موسّع لمعرفة الجهة التي استوردتها، خصوصاً أن هذا النوع من الدمى محظور تداوله في المملكة المتحدة.
ووصف متحدث باسم شرطة ديفون وكورنوال الحادثة بأنها «مروعة ومؤسفة»، مشيراً إلى أن المشهد الأولي كان حقيقياً إلى درجة جعلت الجميع يعتقد أن الأمر يتعلق بجريمة قتل طفل.

The Devon and Cornwall Police stated that the farmer who found the bag near the village of Olescombe was in great shock when he spotted the soft limbs of the doll protruding from inside, prompting him to immediately call emergency services, leading to the bag being opened very carefully in the presence of forensic experts.
According to the police statement, the body was taken to the lab for further examination, but tests later confirmed that the “remains” were not human at all, but rather a silicone doll.
The police explained that the doll is sold online through popular shopping sites like Shein or AliExpress, confirming that a wide-ranging investigation has been launched to determine the source that imported it, especially since this type of doll is banned from circulation in the United Kingdom.
A spokesperson for the Devon and Cornwall Police described the incident as “horrific and unfortunate,” noting that the initial scene was so realistic that it led everyone to believe it was a case of child murder.
